Cryogenic 17-4 PH® Flange Bolting

With large temperature differences seen in cryogenic applications, the use of Belleville disc springs can play a significant role in the reduction of leaks. Materials with good cryogenic properties are PH (precipitation hardening) and Carpenter Technology stainless steels.

The load values listed in the table below are according to the calculated theoretical load curve based on the dimensions and material for each part number.
